One of my very best friends is turning the big 4-0 next month. Knowing that one of her favorite colors is yellow, I designed this easy to wear shawl using the most gorgeous shade of mustard. Two big tassels complete the playful look. Super bulky weight Hobbii Umami Tweed is fun to work with and soft on the skin. I hope you enjoy knitting your very own Roxanne Shawl and can’t wait to see the colors you choose!

NEEDLES:
US 17 (12 mm) circular or straight knitting needles (or size to obtain gauge)

YARN:
Super Bulky Weight - 360 yds (332 m)
Suggested Yarn: Hobbii Umami Tweed - 75% acrylic / 22% wool / 3% Viscose
90 yds (83 m) / 150 g (4 skeins)
Color used in sample: Curry #16

NOTIONS:
Tapestry needle, scissors, pom pom maker (or piece of cardboard)

GAUGE:
4” x 4” / 10 cm x 10 cm: 7.5 sts x 14 rows in garter stitch pattern

FINISHED SIZE
Wingspan 77” (211 cm) (NOT including tassels)
Depth 19.25” (49 cm)
